Utah: Weber County

In Weber County, Latino and African American youth are overrepresented in the juvenile detention facilities. In 2003, Latino youth represented 14% of the overall youth population, but 31% of youth in detention. African American youth represented 1% of the overall youth population, but 4% of youth in detention.
